Vintage Primitive Wooden Meat Tenderizer Mallet, Metal Faces, Leather Hanging Loop, Approx. 12 in.

A vintage primitive wooden meat tenderizer mallet with a turned wooden handle and a barrel-shaped wooden head capped in metal (aluminum look) on both ends: one textured waffle face for tenderizing and one flat face for pounding. A leather hanging loop runs through the end of the handle.

Condition: Crack running around the wooden head (visible on both sides); gouges and dings on one side of the head; wear and scratches on the metal faces; aged patina. Please look at the photos carefully.

Styling ideas: hang it on a peg rail or hook with other vintage kitchen tools, add it to a farmhouse kitchen display, or a crock of old wooden utensils.
