The story
A mid-century American Family Scale in white enamel, about 9 in. tall. The face reads "Weighs 25 pounds by ounces, Not legal for trade", and it has a square weighing tray. The needle sits at zero.
Condition: Surface rust spots on the tray and base, a few small enamel chips, general wear consistent with age. Needle returns to zero.
Styling ideas: display it on an open kitchen shelf, use it to hold a small bowl of fruit or a plant, or pair it with other farmhouse kitchenware.
