Vintage Ekco A&J High Speed Super Center Drive Egg Beater, Red Wood Handles, USA

A vintage hand-crank rotary egg beater, the Ekco A&J "High Speed Super Center Drive" model, c. 1930s–50s. The gear wheel is stamped "HIGH SPEED SUPER CENTER DRIVE" and "MADE IN UNITED STATES OF AMERICA". It has red-painted wooden handles, a red-striped wooden crank knob and the original four-blade beater.

Condition: Red paint worn and chipped on the top handle, with bare wood showing. Patina, pitting and surface rust on the beater blades. Spots of rust along the edge of the gear wheel. Paint worn on the red-striped crank knob.

Styling ideas: hang it on a farmhouse kitchen wall, stand it in a crock with other vintage utensils, or add it to a red-handled kitchen collection.
