The story

A vintage American ivory dinnerware serving platter by Steubenville Pottery of Ohio, with the "Steubenville Ivory" elephant backstamp. Shaped rectangular form with canted corners and a beaded rope-edge rim, a maroon red rim line, and sprays of yellow roses with dark leaves on all four sides.

Condition: Small chips along the rim edge in three spots, each showing the exposed body: one larger chip on the underside edge at a corner, a small chip on the underside edge at another corner, and a small chip on the front rim edge at a corner beside a rose spray (see close-up photos).

Styling ideas: lean it on a plate stand in a cottage kitchen, serve cookies or sandwiches on it, or hang it on a platter wall with other vintage florals.

Approx. 13" long.

Vase and flowers not included (shown for display only). Item #A160
