Vintage Pastoral Green Transferware, 2 Taylor Smith & Taylor Plates + Homer Laughlin Bowl, 1 Chipped

A little set of vintage green transferware in the Pastoral pattern: farm and country scenes framed by an embossed leaf and floral rim. The two bread-and-butter plates are Taylor, Smith & Taylor "Pastoral" (one backstamped 3-56, March 1956) and the small bowl is Homer Laughlin "Pastoral" (B58 N6). Two makers, matching pattern. Sold together as 3 pieces.

Condition: one plate has a chip about 1/2" wide on the outer edge of the rim (see the close-up, photo 3). Small glaze specks and kiln marks on the undersides, normal for this ware. Please look at the photos carefully.

Styling ideas: hang the plates on the wall, display them on a plate rack, use the bowl for rings or wrapped candies, or add them to a green transferware collection. The chipped plate is lovely for display.

Plates approx. 6 1/2" across.
