The story
A vintage 1940s–50s oval serving platter by Paden City Pottery of West Virginia. Cream glaze with a colorful floral spray at the center (pink rose with blue and orange flowers) and a 22K gold rim. Backstamped "Premier, Warranted 22-K Gold" along with the Paden City Pottery Co. "Made in U.S.A." mark.
Condition: Light brown staining and crazing to the glaze, wear to the gold rim, and a small dark mark on the back edge (not a crack — seller confirmed). No chips noted.
Styling ideas: display it on a plate stand in a cottage kitchen, serve a holiday roast or cookies on it, or add it to a platter wall with other vintage florals.
