The story

Four vintage blue and white transferware cups showing Paul Revere's midnight ride: the rider on horseback in front of a colonial house, framed by trees. Believed to be the Liberty Blue pattern made in Staffordshire, England in the 1970s for the U.S. Bicentennial (no backstamp seen on the bottoms). Sold as a set of 4 cups, no saucers.

Condition: light tan/brown discoloration on the unglazed foot rings (see the close-up of a base, photo 3), and light staining inside some of the cups that is hard to see in the photos. No chips or cracks seen. Please look at the photos carefully.

Approx. 3 3/4" across the rim.

Styling ideas: morning coffee or tea, a Fourth of July or patriotic table, or completing a Liberty Blue collection.

Vase and flowers not included (shown for display only). Item #A149
