The story
A red-on-white rimmed serving bowl in Royal China's much-loved "Memory Lane" pattern. The center shows a country farm scene — a shed under a big shade tree, horses, cattle and a wagon, with a footbridge over a stream — framed by a border of oak leaves and acorns. Backstamped "Memory Lane, Royal Ironstone, Underglaze, Made in U.S.A." with the 1965 copyright. About 8 1/2" across; good vintage condition. A cheerful piece for a farmhouse table or a red transferware collection.
