The story

Two rimmed soup bowls in blue transferware, printed with a scrolling floral border of poppies and acanthus leaves on a softly scalloped rim. Both are backstamped "Ophir" with a bottle-kiln mark reading "Reliable, Burslem, England, Semi-Porcelain" (see the last photo), early 20th century. Approx. 9 1/4" across.

Please note the condition: the bowl on the LEFT in the first photo has a hairline crack running from the rim to the center and through the foot ring, plus brown age staining and crazing in the well (see the second and last photos). The bowl on the right is in good condition with light age wear. Old handwritten tape labels on the backs are left in place. Priced with the crack in mind; best for display rather than use.

Vase and flowers not included (shown for display only). Local pickup only.
