Blue Willow Transferware Cup & Saucer — Johnson Bros England Saucer
$12
The story
A cheerful Blue Willow cup and saucer in classic blue-and-white transferware — the pagoda, willow tree, bridge and two lovebirds framed by the traditional fretwork border. The saucer carries the Johnson Bros "since 1883" backstamp (dishwasher, freezer and microwave safe, Made in England). The cup is a matching Willow-pattern cup marked "Made in Poland", so the two are a pleasing pairing rather than a factory set. Perfect for morning tea or to fill a gap in a Willow collection.
