The story
A white porcelain cake plate with two pierced, ribbon-bow handles, a scalloped rim with a green floral border, and gilt leaf sprigs beside each handle. Please note the condition: the gilt on both pierced handles and the leaf sprigs is noticeably worn (see the close-up photos), and the underside shows some staining. No chips noted. The base carries a worn red circular stamp and a smudged green mark that we could not read. Approx. 10 3/4" handle to handle, about 9 1/2" across the plate.
