Antique Maddock & Co Royal Stone China Serving Dish — Brown Floral Transferware
$25
The story
An antique English ironstone serving dish by Maddock & Co of Burslem, marked "Royal Stone China" beneath a royal crown. Rectangular with a pedestal foot and sculpted handles touched with gilt, decorated with delicate brown transfer sprays of wild roses and leaves. Originally the base of a covered vegetable dish, it's lovely today as a centerpiece planter, a bread or fruit server, or a vanity catch-all.
