Vintage Phoenix Ware Clear Ribbed Glass Oval Covered Casserole with Lid, approx. 11 in.

A vintage clear glass oval casserole with its matching lid, in the classic ribbed Phoenix heat-resisting glass pattern with little tab handles on both pieces. The lid can double as a shallow baking or serving dish.

Condition: two very minor scratches on the lid, each under an inch long; no chips or cracks seen; light surface wear from use. Please look at the photos carefully.

Styling ideas: bake and serve a gratin or cobbler straight to the table; fill with lemons, apples or pinecones as a centrepiece; use the lid alone as a tray for soaps or keys.
