The story
A vintage hand-worked wool needlepoint of a brown bird among the cattails at the water's edge, stitched on a cream ground in soft browns, rust, olive and gray. Set in a solid oak frame with a hanging wire on the back. The back is covered in vintage Bloomingdale's striped gift-wrap paper, a fun detail.
Condition: Light age discoloration to the canvas; frame in good shape; backing paper shows age.
Styling ideas: a cabin or lake-house wall, a gallery wall of vintage needlework, or propped on a shelf or mantel.
Framed size approx. 13.5" x 11".
