The story
Doreen Yen Hung Feng's "The Joy of Chinese Cooking," written and illustrated by the author — one of the early classic Chinese cookbooks for Western kitchens. A Faber and Faber, London edition in green cloth with the red spine label, and a pretty title page with red chopstick borders. Inscribed in red: "To Nora with love and Merry Christmas 1967 — Doreen, Philip & Cindy." Inscribed, possibly by the author; unverified.
