The story
A big, charming wire egg basket in the shape of a hen, in the French farmhouse style — coiled wire head and long upswept tail, a round woven body for the eggs, and a folding wire carrying handle on top. Soft grey wire with a gentle patina. Use it for eggs, onions and garlic, yarn, or simply as a showpiece on a farmhouse table or shelf.
